Automatic alerts, in controlled waves
Every subscriber who asked gets the email when the product returns: no campaign to build, no list to export. Sends go out in paced waves, so a long list never lands on your store all at once.

Back-in-stock email alerts for Shopify
When a product sells out, the customers who wanted it join a list instead of leaving empty-handed. The moment it is back, Restoc emails them automatically, in controlled waves. Start free; when you need everything, one flat price: $9.99/month — unlimited products, unlimited subscribers, unlimited alerts, everything included. No transaction fees, no tiers, no surprises.

Every week, see which restocks turned into orders.
How it works
The block appears on sold-out products and variants: the customer leaves an email instead of leaving the store.

The app notices the restock and emails the list automatically, in controlled waves, so the store is never flooded.

Orders that follow an alert are attributed, and the weekly report shows what each restock recovered.

Product
Every subscriber who asked gets the email when the product returns: no campaign to build, no list to export. Sends go out in paced waves, so a long list never lands on your store all at once.

Connect your sending domain and the alerts arrive from your address. Settings walk you through the DKIM and DMARC records to publish, and the app checks them before the first send; until then, alerts go out from the app's sending address with your shop name on them.

The block and the alert emails speak your shop's language: 24 are supported, the right one is picked automatically, and you can pin one language in Settings if you prefer.

The weekly recovered-sales report ties orders back to the alerts that brought them, per restock and per currency, so the flat price is judged on recovered revenue, not on hope.

Most back-in-stock apps sort their features into tiers and reserve unlimited alerts, a custom sending domain and multiple languages for the top one. The paid plan here is the whole product: no per-email quotas, no per-alert charges, no feature held back for a higher tier.
Start free if you prefer: the free plan carries email alerts and up to 1,000 shopper signups a month, with a discreet Powered by Restoc line on the sign-up form. It stays free for as long as your shop wants it.
Comparison
This app keeps two plans: a free one, and one flat paid price. Most back-in-stock apps print no plan prices on their App Store page at all; the one that does is set out below, figure for figure, as its page states them.
| Price and features | Restoc | Back In Stock! Alert Engine |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $9.99 — one flat price | $4, $8 and $12 a month, in 3 plans |
| Free trial | 14 days | 7 days |
| Unlimited subscribers and email alerts | Included | In its Premium Plan, $12 a month |
| Email from your own domain | Included | In its Premium Plan, $12 a month |
| Multiple languages | 24 languages, included | In its Premium Plan, $12 a month |
On paid plans, Back In Stock! Alert Engine starts lower than this app: its Basic Plan is $4 a month, against $9.99 here. The three features above stand in its Premium Plan; what each lower plan holds is listed on its App Store page. This app's other plan is free.
6 more apps in this category print no plan prices on their App Store pages (checked 29 October 2026):
Every figure in this section was read on the apps' own Shopify App Store pages on 29 October 2026. Prices there are the source, and they may have moved since the reading.
Your subscribers keep their original subscription dates, and no product page is ever left without a form.
Export your waitlist as CSV from your current app.
Import the file here: duplicates are skipped, original dates are kept, and rows that match no product in your catalog are reported, not dropped silently.
Remove the old app only once the list is in, so no sold-out page is ever left without its form.
Documented export formats from Notify Me!, STOQ, Klaviyo and Swym are recognized.
The dashboard's Get set up card tracks the steps that matter: adding the block, importing an existing list if you have one, and customising the alert email. It marks each step as it happens and leaves the dashboard when they are done.
Through Shopify, on your regular Shopify bill. The app has two plans: a free plan, and a paid plan with a free trial first. The Pricing page in the app shows the plan your shop is on and takes you to Shopify's own plan page, where you choose or change your plan; there are no per-product, per-subscriber or per-alert charges.
Yes. The button label, the success message and the other texts are block settings in the theme editor, and the block follows your shop's language automatically (24 languages are built in).
Send from your own domain — Settings walks you through the DNS records that prove the mail is yours — and let the automatic protections work: addresses that bounce hard, complain or unsubscribe are suppressed and never emailed again, which is what keeps a sender reputation clean.
Alerts stop immediately and your sign-in sessions are deleted at once. Shopify then sends a final deletion instruction 48 hours later, and everything held for your shop — lists, markings, journals, recovered-order records and settings — is erased at that point.
Install the app, add the block, and the next sold-out product starts building its list today.
